Welcome to floatopia's July newsletter.

2 for 1 Summer offer

It might seem counter intuitive - yet there are few things more physically refreshing when it is hot outside than being semi immersed in liquid maintained at skin temperature - you do not sweat, you do not shiver - it is body and environment in perfect equilibrium. What is more we are making the sensation even sweeter with our fabulous summer 2 for 1 offer. As long as at least one of you is a new client you will be able to get two floats for the price of one throughout July and August.

So what better way is there to chill out and feel refreshed this summer than with a relaxing, stress- beating HALF PRICE float!

Please do note that the value days are excluded from this offer.

Penalty relief

Are you or do you have someone in your household suffering from depression over the events in Gelsenkirchen last weekend? A float will help ease the pain, reduce grumpiness and help focus on what is important going forward... England v Andorra on 2nd September 2006 in the Euro 2008 qualifiers!!

Change to weekend opening hours

We have been noticing that not many of you come and float late in the evening on the weekend yet we get numerous requests for floats before midday, so I am pleased to announce that as of 8 July we will be opening at 10am and closing at 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Late summer closure

Despite the fact that running a float centre is the closest thing to being on holiday whilst working …. I am being a bit greedy and actually taking some official R&R at the end of the summer. I will be away for 2 weeks during which time floatopia will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.

The days we will be closed are as follows
August: Thursday 24 , Monday 28 (bank holiday) to Thursday 31 inclusive.
September: Monday 4 to Thursday 7 inclusive.

September Value Day

As a result of the above the September value day will now be on the 11th being the second Tuesday of the month.

Free floats

Last month's free float competition was won by Wade Andrea, Sinead Kelly and Claire Morris who all predicted that Crouch would be the first England player to score in the world cup finals.

This month we retain a sporting theme. Many of you will know that I am a keen recreational cyclist and as such I am watching the Tour de France with interest. This year the race is wide open - Lance Armstrong has retired and all the pre race favourites have been banned from starting due to a doping scandal. So even if you know nothing about cycling it is worth just picking a name at random from the start list as three floats will go to the first person who mails me with the name of this year's eventual winner. One entry per person.

Wimbledon

Finally, I would like to congratulate long time Floatopia client Melanie South who beat the number 11 seed in her first round ladies singles match at Wimbledon this year. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/5126444.stm.

As ever we look forward to relaxing you all soon.

Regards

Sacha
