Welcome to another edition of "What's afloat" the monthly newsletter from floatopia.

Get floating fit

Whilst basking in the glorious weather of the long bank holiday, feasting on chocolate, many of you may have been drawn to the sports equipment which has languished at the back of the shed all winter.

If you yearn for those fit muscular limbs to flaunt in summer wear, it is well to remember that exercise actually breaks down muscle tissue. Muscle growth occurs after exercise not during it... and few places provide a more anabolic (tissue building) environment than a float room. Freed from gravity and totally at rest all the body's resources are focussed on repairing and building tissue. So to get the most from your training remember to schedule some float time!

Correction

In last month's newsletter I referred to the Stress Management Association and how they kindly invited us to share their stand at the onelife exhibition. How did I repay this generosity? Only by giving the wrong link to their excellent website! The correct link is www.stress.org.uk.

Piccadilly line petition

Thank you to all those who visited petitions.pm.gov.uk/Turnhamgreen to add your support to the campaign for the Piccadilly Line to stop at Turnham Green, do please spread the word!

Save time for re-adjustment

Just a quick reminder that you will get more from your float if you take advantage of our relaxation lounge and garden. By giving yourself time to readjust gently to full wakefulness you will continue to minimise the stress to your system.

You wrote the book

The monthly opportunity for you to contribute when I choose a couple of quotes from the visitors book.

"First float today; got a parking ticket an hour before the float and wanted to strangle the ticket inspector, after the float am that relaxed I'd buy the chap a drink!" Anon

"What a fantastic way to let go of one's troubles... feel like a new body has been added. Good bye aches and stress. Hello floating! Will be back very soon." Dorota

Free Floats

All that remains is to announce that the lucky new subscriber who wins a free float to be taken by May 31st is Olga Findlay. So do give us a call to book yourself in.

That's all for this month - hope to relax you all soon

Regards
